The Neo Vista 2 uses two layers of Mizuno's bouncy Enerzy NXT foam with a flexible nylon plate between them, on a gentle rocker. It feels lighter and more playful than its height suggests. The ride is springy rather than sinking, which makes long runs feel a bit more fun.
It suits long runs and daily miles for runners who want cushion with some personality. It's livelier than the Nimbus 27 or Bondi 9, and closer in spirit to the Superblast 2, though it isn't quite as fast.
The upper is a bootie-style knit with a roomy forefoot. That's great for some and a bit warm or loose for others, so try it on if you can.
“Lively, fun and much lighter than it looks.”
