The Nimbus is ASICS's comfort flagship. The 27 pairs soft FF Blast+ foam with PureGEL in the heel for landings that feel muted and gentle. It isn't exciting, but it's consistent and stable in a way some softer shoes aren't.
It suits long, easy miles and runners who want comfort without any wobble. It's more stable and more traditional than the Superblast 2, and it has more structure than the 1080 v14. It's also less bouncy than the Triumph 23.
The jacquard mesh upper, with a knit tongue and collar, is one of the most comfortable on this shelf. It fits true to size, and wide versions are easy to find.
“Comfort first, with no wobble to pay for it.”

Big, soft and surprisingly nimble for a shoe this tall.
