The S/Lab Genesis is built for long mountain races. A cushioned foam stack sits over a thin protective film rather than a stiff, full-length plate, so you get protection without too much bulk. The ride is firm enough for good control and soft enough for the late miles.
It suits long trail races and fast long runs on rocky ground. It's more protective than the Kjerag and more precise than the Speedgoat 6. Its premium price only makes sense if you race.
The fit is close and race-ready, with Salomon's Quicklace system holding the foot firmly. It fits true to size.
“Mountain racing pedigree you can feel in the first mile.”
