The Kjerag is Kilian Jornet's race shoe, and it's built for fast mountain racing. It's very light, with a low stack of supercritical EExpure foam and a Vibram Megagrip Litebase outsole. The ride is firm and precise, with excellent ground-feel.
It suits confident runners on technical trails and in mountain races who want speed and feel over cushioning. It's lighter and faster than the S/Lab Genesis and the Bushido III. It's also less protective, and less forgiving on long days.
The fit is close and precise. Runners with wider feet should try before buying.
“A mountain racer's shoe. Fast and light, and it rewards a confident footstrike.”
