The Zegama 2 puts Nike's soft ZoomX foam under a sticky Vibram outsole. The ride is plush and bouncy for a trail shoe, and it's ideal for long descents where softness saves your legs.
It suits long mountain days and runs with a lot of downhill. It's softer than the Speedgoat 6 and less precise. If you want the softest trail ride on this shelf, this is a good pick, but it gives up some stability on very technical ground.
The fit is secure and comfortable, with a padded upper. It fits true to size.
“The soft trail ride we'd pick for big descents.”
