The Cascadia is Brooks's protective trail all-rounder. A rock shield, a stable platform and TrailTack rubber make it steady and secure over rough ground. It's not the most exciting ride, but it's reliable and confidence-inspiring.
It suits runners and hikers on rough, technical terrain who want protection and stability above speed. It's more stable than the Speedgoat 6 and more protective than the Peregrine 15. It's also heavier than both.
The fit is secure and comfortable, with room in the forefoot. Wide versions are available.
“The sensible hiking-boot-adjacent choice for rough, technical terrain.”
