JetBoots Prime are Therabody's answer to Normatec: cordless pneumatic boots with the pump built into the boots. Four overlapping chambers inflate in a wave from foot to thigh, and controls on the boot or in the app pick one of four pressure levels and a 20, 40 or 60-minute or continuous session.
The squeeze is a little less refined than Normatec's five zones, with four pressure steps to Normatec's seven and a slightly noisier pump. In daily use the difference is small, and most runners won't notice it after a long run.
Where they win is price. You get the hoseless convenience of the Normatec Elite for about $550 less, which makes them the sensible pick for anyone who wants boots without the premium.
“Real pneumatic compression for a lot less than a Normatec.”
