The Suunto Run is a stripped-back, good-looking road running watch. Light case, AMOLED screen and dual-band GPS, without the extras that push up the price.
It's for road runners who want something simple and accurate. Against the Forerunner 165 it matches on screen and weight but has fewer coaching tools; against the Coros Pace 3 it has the nicer screen but less battery.
Dual-band GPS is dependable and the battery lasts around a week and a half of normal use. Navigation is breadcrumb only, so stick to routes you know or load a course first.
“Simple and good-looking; a fair rival to the budget Garmins.”
