The Ora Recovery Slide 3 is a Hoka road shoe in slide form: a thick foam base, a rocker that rolls you forward, and a footbed shaped to hold the heel. Where an Oofos goes soft and squashy, the Ora feels more stable and supportive.
That structure makes it the better slide for walking. It doesn't wobble when you stand around, and the rocker means tired calves do less work. The wide, soft foam strap fits most feet without rubbing.
The foam is firmer than OOfoam, so it doesn't have the instant 'ahh' of the Oofos. If you prefer your recovery shoes to feel like a shoe, it is the better choice.
“The Oofos rival for runners who like a bit more structure.”
