The verdict
The FSTCap is Ciele's race cap. It sits lower and closer to the head than the GOCap, with a shorter pre-curved brim, so it stays put when you put your head down and push.
Recent versions mix a light woven front with fine mesh on the top and sides for cooling, and a quick-adjust closure at the back. Unlike the one-size GOCap, it comes in two sizes, which helps it fit snugly enough for race pace.
On this shelf it is the most focused of the four Ciele caps. The GOCap is the better everyday all-rounder, the ALZCap the smaller fit, and the TRLCap the one for long days in the hills.
