The verdict
The GOCap is Ciele's original and still its best-seller: a five-panel running cap with a soft, flat brim that folds into a pocket and springs back. It is the default shape the other Ciele caps are measured against.
COOLwick fabric pulls sweat off the forehead and dries quickly, and the brim and panels carry UPF 40+ sun protection. Reflective details front and back help on dark mornings, and the whole thing goes in the washing machine.
Of the four Ciele caps here, it is the all-rounder. The ALZCap is the smaller fit, the FSTCap sits lower for racing, and the TRLCap adds a taller, more ventilated crown for the hills. If you only buy one, start here.
