The Takumi Sen 10 is a short-distance racer in the old style: lower, firmer and stiffer than the marathon super shoes. Two layers of Lightstrike Pro foam and glass-fibre EnergyRods give it a sharp, snappy toe-off, and the lower stack keeps you close to the road on corners.
It suits 5K and 10K races, track sessions and fast intervals, especially for midfoot and forefoot strikers. Over a half marathon it starts to feel firm, and few runners will want it for a full marathon.
Think of it as the precise little sibling of the Adios Pro 4. It is also more of a racer than the Endorphin Speed 5, which is softer and better for training. The fit is narrow and race-snug, with a thin upper that locks the foot down.
“A short-distance scalpel; save the marathon for something softer.”

ZoomX LT foam, a wider Flyplate and quieter Air pods, about 10 grams lighter than before.
Air pods, ZoomX and a full carbon plate, now light enough to stop apologising for.
Energy rods instead of a plate, and a rocker that rewards a forefoot strike.
